Carlos A. Hernandez Supports H.R. 1259: VA Accountability First Act of 2017 100% , Which Pres Trump signed into law today 6-23-2017.

H.R. 1259 Authorizes the Secretary of the VA additional authority to remove employees due to poor performance or misconduct and increase whistle blower protections.

Moulton misleads Americans into believing that he is protecting U.S Veteran interest.

Congressman Seth Moulton: “While I agree that VA management must be empowered to hold their employees accountable, buried in this bill is a poison pill. This partisan language would eliminate collective bargaining rights of employees and fails to maintain whistle blower protections for those who speak out against misconduct and mismanagement at VA facilities.”

Congressman Seth Moulton: “I voted against H.R. 1259

Hernandez want to know who Interests is Seth Moulton representing “The Unions & his own benefits”, because it sure does not look like he is concern of what is best for  U.S. Veterans

“H.R. 1259 would institute necessary reforms at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) by providing the Secretary with the authority to expeditiously remove, demote, or suspend any VA employee, including Senior Executive Service (SES) employees, for performance or misconduct.  . H.R. 1259 would also: provide improved protections for whistleblowers; allow the Secretary to reduce an employee’s federal pension if he or she is convicted of a felony that influenced his or her job at VA; recoup a bonus provided to an employee who engaged in misconduct or poor performance prior to receiving the bonus; and allow the Secretary to recoup any relocation expenses that were authorized for a VA employee only through the employee’s ill-gotten means, such as fraud waste, or malfeasance. “Source GovTrack

Hernandez will always support what is best for the U.S.A., Veterans & Military!
